NOVITEC first gained notoriety in 1989 for tuning Italian sports cars, with the success of their Alfa Romeo and Fiat tuning proficiency. As NOVITEC'S satisfied clientele continued to grow and graduate from driving Alfa Romeos to Ferrari's, the natural line of progression to Ferrari tuning was born in NOVITEC Rosso. NOVITEC Rosso initially began behind closed doors, with a hand picked team of technicians that launched a project known as "Rosso F360". The goal of the project was not to make any fundamental changes to one of the most aesthetic automobiles on the road today, but rather to create an exclusive and extensive range of exceptional options for the discerning individualist. These options include aerodynamics, ultra-light and resilient carbon components for the engine, interior, and exterior, powerful braking systems, sports suspension, stainless steel sport exhaust, and 19" center locking or 5-lug alloy wheels. NOVITEC Rosso's interior trappings create a luxurious environment of alcantara, aluminum, carbon and custom leather. For the engine, a bi-compressor with two super chargers increases the F360's horsepower to 606, whilst the carbon fiber airbox optimizes the air intake.
